A year late?

Damn, it's been over a year since I started this blog...I tend to drag my feet with these things.

A really great year for yours truly...lots of happening projects like:

- The theme for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
- MTV 2006 Music Video Awards
- A tune I wrote with Dylan Berry called "Cadillac Grill" for the Mark Wahlberg movie "Invincible"
- Commercials for Honda
- A couple of shows for the History Channel

And tons more than I can't think of at the moment.

I revamped my entire system with a massively powerful computer from ADK Pro Audio (probably the best experience I've ever had buying anything), and all is smooth and fast.

Recent news:

- Currently plugging away on the next Big Kid album. We found a ridiculous singer, Justin, from a band called Population Game (http://profile.myspace.com/populationgame) to do the singing chores. A splendid fellow and an absolute joy to work with. This is going to be an absolutely stellar power pop album...it should make fans of Jellyfish and Jon Brion very happy. I've been holed up in my studio playing guitar and bass and whatever else is lying around, singing backups, programming, producing, and mixing the thing. I have a few songs of my own on there, and the rest were co-written with the über-talented Steve Clark. I'm also playing drums on a few of the tracks. Be prepared for this one - it's going to be sick.

The last one continues to get good reviews and new fans...we're on iTunes (Big Kid - All Kidding Aside) and NotLame Records (http://www.notlame.com/Big_Kid/Page_1/CDBIGKID2.html)...plus the usual MySpace, etc.

- Dylan and I wrote a theme for Epson projection, which will be shown in major theaters in Japan and likely in the States, too.

Lots of other cool stuff coming up...I'll try to keep things up to date here.

Adios!
